BJP leader Dilip Ghosh and his wife, Rinku Majumdar, made a notable public appearance today, visiting Dakshineswar Kali Temple following their marriage last Friday. The couple, accompanied by Ghosh’s mother, Pushpalata Devi, prayed for the welfare of West Bengal and its people. Ghosh shared his desire to fulfill his duties with utmost dedication, showcasing their strong family faith.
However, their visit took a political turn when Ghosh addressed the ongoing teacher recruitment scam. He criticized the government's handling of the issue, stating that discussions and protests were ineffective. Ghosh emphasized that the only solution to the matter now lies through the judiciary, specifically the Supreme Court, which he said listens to everyone’s concerns. Both Ghosh and Rinku called for justice for the 18,000 deserving candidates who were allegedly denied jobs due to the scam.
In addition to their temple visit, the couple attended an IPL match at Eden Gardens on Saturday, marking their first public outing since their marriage. Their participation in both religious and recreational events highlights Ghosh’s continued engagement in both politics and social activities within the state.
